Science
To kick off our chapter on plate tectonics, we began by talking about density and buoyancy of objects. We did several activities to measure how density affects objects in water, and even had a contest to see who could create the most buoyant tinfoil boat. We judged this them by seeing how many pennies each boat could hold before it took on water. The winners boat held 126 pennies!
